I movedto Alberta from Ottawa in 2000.

Just a laugh for you. You probably have heard this saying. It is a NF thing. I have gotten a bit stressed out about plans being behind and my fiance always teases and says "Fish or no fish - there will be a wedding". Have you ever heard of that?

We are both from this province and both from little towns like the one you mentionned. But we are no where near The Northern Pen. We both live in the city of St. John's now because we are working here.. But it was really cool because FINALLY there is someone else on here who know that Newfoundland exists.. LOL

He is from the Northern Pen. a little town called Plum Point. It is near St. Anthony and then Deer Lake is a few hours away.

I have been. It is a beautiful little town.

Yes I will try to figure out how to do it.

I have been on the Ultimate Wedding Site and enjoy that one. Do you use that one at all? They have really neat ideas.

My wedding is getting closer and things are still not completely done. Mostly small things.

I am originally from ON and my fiance is originally from NF. He has lived in AB for 21 years and I almost 3. We are having a lot of family and friends from out of province so things will be hectic around our house.

I am glad you are excited about your wedding. I just turned 40 in April and have never been married. I still wanted the traditional type wedding ~ gown, flowers, cake, etc. So we are doing it.

I will try to post some photos.

Please keep in touch and I promise I will look for something for you to use for the Memory of your dear friend.

I am still searching out possibilities. Things are hectic with me right this minute as we get married on June 27th. However, I will go through the stuff I have collected and see if there is anything appropriate and let you know.

I think it is really special that you are having your friends 2 year old daughter in your bridal party. I am quite certain the day will be difficult. But you know, I am sure your friend would have wanted you to have a wonderful day. She will be looking down proudly at you and her sweet little daughter on your special day.

I am also looking for a little poem. My best friend passed away a little over a yr. ago. She was to be my maid of honour. I too am having a photo of her on a memory table with a rose. I thought it would be nice to have a little poem.
