I watched 7th Heaven once. It was agony. I tried to see the humor in the awfulness of it, but I just couldn't. I sometimes watch Charmed, because they feature our artists' music every now and again. I used to like The Crow. It doesn't seem to be on anymore. It was on at 3:00 am Sunday night/Monday morning, but I'd always wake up and watch it. Which was easy to do because the TV is in the bedroom, and we sleep with it on. Mostly because it's old, & doesn't have a remote and we're too lazy to get up and shut it off!

suznyc, you made me laugh out loud when i read about your old t.v. with no remote. i have the same type of t.v. in my room. i hate to get up to turn it off especially since we're experiencing very cold nights here in california. the other night, i taped together a few pencils to use as a pointer to turn off the t.v. i know, i know, what a dork. but, at least, i don't have to get out of bed. :)

Mine has a knob, so the pencil trick won't work. It's from the stone age.

you need The Clapper! "Clap on (clap clap) Clap Off (clap clap)"....it is so awesome! Kurt got it at a White Elephant Christmas party. I had it at my old bachelorette home when I was living by myself. I had a lamp accross the bedroom, and I hated getting out of bed to turn it off - or conversely, hated getting in to bed stumbling in the dark! Bvan- I love Felicity. We were just talking about that show last week on this board. I can't stand Jack & Jill, but they are a cast of pretty people. I have a female crush on the blonde dancer. She is pretty. I hope she "Makes it" in the biz!

I have always wanted The Clapper (as opposed to the clap). Maybe I will buy one!

Ok, back to the goldfish. I went to a wedding today that was absolutely beautiful. Then, on to the reception. As soon as I walked in, I looked at the centerpieces and stopped dead in my tracks. On every table, there was a small bowl filled with rocks, two fake wedding rings, and a goldfish! All of the fish looked very depressed and stayed at the bottom of the bowls. I'm sure they were terrified! At my table alone, they were tapped at, swirled around, and joked about. I thought my brother in law would either swallow it or take it home to feed his turtles. Oh, and our fish had a string of poop hanging out of his butt during the meal. Yummy! Then the poop floated around the bowl for the rest of the time. At the end of the reception, people took them home (there were a lot of kids) and someone asked me if I wanted one. Are you kidding? Then I'd have to buy food, a larger tank, etc... No thanks- I wasn't interested in that commitment and I'm sure the parents of the group were not either. So,now that I've had a personal experience with seeing the fish used, I would definately vote to not have the fish.

Thanks for sharing, Tawnya! I hope brides read this and take it to heart. The first time I heard the idea, I'll admit, I thought it was cute - but it didn't take long to realize ALL the things that could go wrong.
