Bvan, What did you decide to do about the invite situation? I would have posted this way up in the correct thread..but I didn't think anyone would read it. (yes...I scroll thru the messages the old fasion way)

Margi: I talked to my friend (co-worker) and she
said she didn't feel comfortable coming "on the
sly." She said she would understood if I didn't
invite her. This is NOT what I wanted to happen,
but I feel much better about NOT inviting the
entire office. She suggested I make a little
announcement stating the guest list and space is
limited but how I would love to bring in photos
and have a "tell-all" session when I return from
the honeymoon. I think this will be really hard
to do (b/c I know many assume they are invited),
but it's a good idea just the same. Now WHEN I
decide to tell the office... when I get the nerve
I guess!
Are you in a similiar situation?
P.S. As a bride, I would also hate to get shown
up by Stacie, the local celebrity!!!

Yes..I'm in a similar situation..sort of. I work in a small office. I was going to invite everyone from my office. Then we hired 1 new person 1 month ago. I thought there was no harm in adding 1 new person (and I really get along with her well). Now they just hired 2 more new people! Well..obviously I have to draw the line here. I can't decide if I'm going to take the first new person off the list ..but I think I am. I may add her to my 'B' list and if I get enough 'regrets' I'll send one to her.
I'm not inviting my boss. He works in another ofc and we are not close. I really feel no obligation to do that.
Here comes the bride~~~and the girl that was on WHo Wants to marry a millionaire~~ da da dada da~ I know what you mean!
I don't know why your friend from work just can't come and keep quiet..not lie but just not bring it up. She should stay discrete as to not rub it in ..but she shouldn't lie about it. Oh well..it sounds like she is fine with the situation and that's important.
