How did you do this? I have horrible handwriting so I bought a calligraphy pen..the felt tip kind.. not the fancy old school kind. Well..is it okay to handwrite the addresses..I mean in cursive? That is truely the only way this is going to look neat with my horrible penmanship. I'm alone ..no relatives or friends around to help. How did you do yours and do you think this is okay?

I think it is perfectly fine to handwrite the envelopes, as long as they are legible, what does it matter? I was actually going to do my envelopes in calligraphy until I found a font and color on my computer that matched the invitation company's print almost exactly! So I decided to take this route for time's sake. If you do have the time, I think handwritten is perfectly ok - Good Luck!

Margi, Hand written is the "proper" way to do them. So, don't worry about it! We addressed ours on the computer, even though all the books say it is unacceptable. (We figured that everything was unacceptable to someone at sometime, so we through caution to the wind and did it anyway.) I am sure your hand written envelopes will be just lovely - and they will meet the approval of everyone.

Margi - that's exactly how I did mine. The calligraphy pen makes even the worst handwriting look better, so don't worry about it. Handwritten is the way to go, and as long as it's neat, it will be fine. Don't worry!
