Did you order one per person or per couple?

I've had numerous discussions about this bubble thing! Some people do think that you need one for evey guest, however I don't agree. (Are they for when you come out of the church or for your first dance??) I'm using mine for when we come out of the church and I only purchased 1 box of 24. Sooooooo if you're trying to decide between per person and per couple, I say one per couple. You don't want eveyone blowing bubbles at the people standing in front of them etc. Only so many people will be able to get close to you. Have you considered have just the children blowing bubbles?? Just a thought. : )

They are definately a one per person thing. Don't you think everyone will enjoy blowing bubbles and not just a chosen few? Besides how would you decide who gets them and who doesn't?

I'm just going to be using them for the first dance, so I'm going to put four on every table (8 people to a table). I can't imagine more than 5% of the men we're inviting would want to blow bubbles in public. Face it, only the women and the kids will do it. And watch out how much you pay! I got mine at Walmart (box of 24) for $5 Canadian. But they are sold for $12-16 elsewhere. True, mine don't have the little doves on top, but I'll just tie a ribbon around them and we're all set. The dance is only four minutes long, after all.

Oops, guess I forgot to mention than I'm not using the bubbles as our favor, just something fun for the dance.

I think 1 per couple is plenty. Your hostess can pass them out to couples (or singles if dateless) upon entering the church. If someone really wants to blow, they'll borrow their date's bubbles. If you're not having a church ceremony, I would just put 1 bottle on every aisle seat and blow bubbles when the bride and groom walk by.
