I turned on the news last night and watched as a local couple wed on TV. No, this certainly wasn’t “Who wants to marry a millionaire?”! The happy couple got married at a GAS STATION where the bride was working. Her groom came in a 10:00 yesterday morning and asked her to marry him at noon that day. Since she had to work, he got a justice of the peace and they got married during her lunch break. No dress, no reception and no teeth! How’s that for a dream wedding!

Oh Lord! The question comes to mind - "what were they thinking?" I just can't quite grasp entering into such an important union at a gas station on my lunch hour! Yikes! A prime example of It's YOUR wedding do what YOU want, I guess!

A few years ago I was watching a television show, and a couple had gotten married, a planned wedding, inside the grocery store where they worked and met. They said their "I do's" in the produce section.

Somebody here in the NYC area got married on the PATH train. The PATH train is a commuter subway line linking NJ & NYC. The very LAST place I would want to get married! I ride that thing every day, and I surely would NOT get on it in a wedding gown. Blech. Dirty before you even say "I do".
