I am looking for a quote about a parent's love. I want to include it in our wedding program above the parent's names... for some reason I have something in my head that says...
"Our parents love us so much we have enough to share with each other."
But that isn't exactly what I want (actually I would prefer something that has been published... but I guess it isn't required.)
Anyone have any ideas?

There's some really great quotes there, Lissy. Even if your not looking for a quote or poem, it's interesting to see how some famous and not so famous people view love, marriage and relationships in general. Thanks, I'm having a good time reading through them.

Thanks Lissy! The wedding was 2/19/00 and I ended up modifying a quote...
"Parents hold their children's hands for a while, their hearts for a lifetime."

OO! I like that! Are you willing to share? That would be great on our programs. Instead of sayin something tired like "we want to thank our parents for all their love and support". It's very true, but a little tired. Then have the parents names underneath.

By all means robin! These are the quotes I used:
Above the parents names -
"Parents hold their children's hands for a while, their heart for a lifetime."
Above the wedding party names -
"God sends angels down from Heaven to walk among the humans, offering help and support - we know them as best friends"
The programs were on 11X17 white parchment paper and folded 4 times. They were one of my favorite things about the wedding!

Thanks! The wedding party quote is beautiful too! I will be using regular coloured paper though, not sure if they will be bi-folded or triple-fold yet. I'd like to go bi-fold. I think it would look better with the designs and accents I'm thinking about.
