Threads : What will be your jewelry?

What are you planning on wearing for your jewelry accessories?

As I go through the planning phases, I start to notice different things in the bridal magazines. Earings are a given, but a lot of pictures do not have necklaces. Obviously, you don't want to take away from the gown...

Curious on what you were planning for the jewelry.

I plan on wearing simple diamond earrings and a matching diamond pendant. It is simple and elegant. I think it will be just enough to help me look "finished" without taking away from or competing with my gown.

Me too!!??
Anyway, I think I'm going to wear this diamond heart pendant that my FH gave me for my birthday last year. I always wear it everyday, so I want to wear it on my wedding day too. I will probably wear it on a small strand of pearls. Not sure about the earrings, though.

It depends a lot on your headpiece, and the style of your gown. I wore a silver tiara with crystal accents, so I wore diamond earrings. I had an off the shoulder gown, and normally would not have worn a necklace with it, but I wanted to wear my late grandmother's antique diamond pendant, so I did. It was on a very thin chain, and the pendant itself is quite delicate.

My gown is strapless with a thick beaded band of pearls around the top of the bodice and the hem. Is there a type of necklace that would work with the dress? I don't want to overdo the pearls.
